About Stockbridge
map
The Town of Stockbridge Massachusetts was founded in 1793 and is located in Berkshire County.

There is so much to do in Stockbridge and those in town should take a drive down the most famous Main Street in America which was painted by Norman Rockwell. There are many historical homes in the town which include the Merwin House and the Mission House as well as Naumkeag. Other attractions I the community are the Chesterwood Museum and the studio of Daniel Chester French who was the sculptor of “The Minute Man” and the Lincoln Memorial. There is also the new Rockwell museum as well as the Berkshire Botanical Garden and Tanglewood which is the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.

Now days the town is a quiet rural bedroom community with a lot of history as well as integrity for the future!

PROFITABLE DONOR COMMUNICATIONS PART 1: BASICS & BEST PRACTICES - Red Lion Inn

PROFITABLE DONOR COMMUNICATIONS: A 2-PART WORKSHOP

Please Note:
You are registering for the seminar being conducted in at the Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, MA. For your convenience, this seminar will be conducted twice on the same day: at The Red Lion Inn at 30 Main Street in Stockbridge, MA from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and The Scoville Memorial Library at 38 Main Street in Salisbury, CT from 2 to 5 p.m.

PART 1: BASICS & BEST PRACTICES

Profitable donor communications all have a dozen or so things in common. These secrets to success derive from many fields: marketing, psychology, eye-motion studies, journalism and, of course, fundraising's own vast body of knowledge. In this session, you'll learn what the world's top communicators know about the subtle science of persuading people to give and stay loyal - AND you'll learn to judge your own materials against these very same standards. This session equips you to return to your desk and ruthlessly (but profitably) assess the competence of your donor and prospect communications materials.

PRESENTER BIO
Often called one of the world's leading experts on donor communications, Tom Ahern is the author of five well-received books on the topic. Each year, he delivers dozens of workshops to fundraisers in the U.S. and abroad. PROFITABLE DONOR COMMUNICATIONS PART 2: MAKING REAL MONEY - Red Lion Inn

PROFITABLE DONOR COMMUNICATIONS: A 2-PART WORKSHOP

Please Note: You are registering for the seminar being conducted in at the Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, MA.

PART 2: MAKING REAL MONEY
The routine of donor communications is simple enough. You ask for my help. You thank me for my help. And you report to me what you did with my help. That and some extra helpings of flattery is all there is to donor communications. Yet most charity communications are built to fail, not succeed. In this session, youll analyze lucrative direct mail, thank-you tactics and newsletters, print and digital. You will also be introduced to many common mistakes worth avoiding. This session is about making as much money as possible from your donor communications.
