Prison wives and girlfriends March Meetup
What can you expect at a meet up? I want us to come together and share our stories and our struggles with one another. I want our atmosphere to be open and relaxed. We have enough rules and restrictions with the dept of corrections. Here we will have no rules. Just a sweet time to come together and get to know one another and share ideas and ask questions as we want to. This place should be a haven of support and encouragment from ladies just like you and me who are fighting to bring our men home. It is also a safe place to vent whatever we are going through over coffee or lunch. I want us to build a strong support group here for all of us that if it's 2am and one of us need someone, she has people she can count on to call. I have personally found that most people who are not in our shoes have very little understanding of what we go through, or why we do it. I want us to surround ourselves with ones who do, each other. The Town of Stockbridge Massachusetts was founded in 1793 and is located in Berkshire County.

There is so much to do in Stockbridge and those in town should take a drive down the most famous Main Street in America which was painted by Norman Rockwell. There are many historical homes in the town which include the Merwin House and the Mission House as well as Naumkeag. Other attractions I the community are the Chesterwood Museum and the studio of Daniel Chester French who was the sculptor of “The Minute Man” and the Lincoln Memorial. There is also the new Rockwell museum as well as the Berkshire Botanical Garden and Tanglewood which is the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.

Now days the town is a quiet rural bedroom community with a lot of history as well as integrity for the future!
